Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Charlotte Thompson, and I'm the Broker-Owner of Sage Real Estate. I like to work with people I know a little about, and I figure you're probably similar, so here's a little bit of background about me.

 

I was raised in southeast Texas and attended Texas State University, where I earned my both bachelor's degree in Business Management and my real estate license in 2010. I went on to be involved in many facets of the real estate industry. But my true passion lies in facilitating sales transactions, which is what I've spent most of my career doing.

 

I look at what many would call "problems" as puzzles to be solved. There is a solution (or many) to every hiccup, and I thrive on the creativity involved in finding that solution. This is one of my favorite things about working in real estate transactions.

 

During my decade in the industry, I've noticed some fundamental issues involving how real estate sales are conducted. I feel it's unfair to charge my clients more for selling properties with higher sale prices than for properties with lower prices. The same effort and skill are required to market and sell all properties, coupled with the fact that I always offer the same high level of service to all of my clients. Why charge different commission amounts for each transaction? Seeing this as a puzzle I knew I could help solve, I took a close look and decided to do things differently. In 2023 I founded Sage Real Estate, a flat fee brokerage that's revolutionizing how real estate sales work in Brazoria County and surrounding areas.

 

To me, this isn't a "sales" career. I'm a guide and adviser along the path to the decision that makes the most sense for my clients. My clients mention that they enjoy working with me because of my down-to-earth, friendly approach backed by my extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. I'll take those compliments any day!

 

Outside of work, anything involving adventure or a new experience is where you'll find me. My passions include hiking, traveling, challenging myself through fitness, home improvement projects, and spending time with my two awesome boys, Liam and Jesse.
